His work has been recognized for literary and artistic achievement by the Hamilton County Committee of the Ohioana Library Association and the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County. In addition, one of his works has received a favorable review in the American Indian Culture and Research Journal published by UCLA. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati and the University of Illinois at Chicago, he is a former healthcare administrator and township councilman in North Brunswick, New Jersey.
