William Bendix
William Bendix (1906-1964) was a classic radio, film, and television actor who started out in the grocery business. At age fifteen he became a bat boy for Babe Ruth, whom he went on to play in The Babe Ruth Story. With nearly one hunred acting credits to his name, he was awarded two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: one for radio and one for television.
