Wynette E DabneyWynette E. Dabney, born and raised in Ohio, has been a childcare teacher for almost twenty years. For over ten years, she has taught Sunday school and enjoys spending her time working with children. She has numerous young nieces and nephews that she dores, and they were the inspiration behind the D-Kidz and Friends, stories she began writing seven years ago. When she wasn't playing sports or with her friends, she wrote short plays. Wynette's strong work ethic is a product of hard-working parents. Her father worked in an ink factory for five decades while her mother practiced the culinary arts. Wynette graduated from Shaw High, where she played basketball as a freshman, with the dream of making it to the WNBA as a career. Her life went in a totally different direction, and her love for children became a children's ministry. After giving her life to Christ on October 4, 2003, she faithfully attended Saint Andrews Missionary Baptist Church and Mount Zion of Oakwood Village. Read More Read Less
