Y Andi TrisyonoY Andi Trisyono is a Professor of Entomology in the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Gadjah Mada in Indonesia, where he teaches insecticide toxicology, insect physiology, transgenic crops and integrated pest management. He earned an MS andPhD in Entomology from Michigan State University and University of Missouri, respectively. His research is focused on risk assessment and risk management of crop protection technologies. He has served as a consultant for national and international organisations. He has been a member of the technical team for environmental risk assessment of GM crops and has served as co- chair for the advisory committee in crop protection for the Ministry of Agriculture in Indonesia.
