Yadong YinYadong Yin is Principal Investigator and Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of California Riverside. His group is interested in the development of functional nanostructured materials for photonic, catalytic, bioanalytical, andenergy applications through unique tools including chemical synthesis, surface functionalization, and self-assembly techniques. Yin is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Materials Chemistry C and a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), Materials Research Society (MRS), and Royal Society of Chemistry, Fellow (FRSC). He has published over 300 journal articles and is editor of two books: Responsive Photonic Nanostructures: Smart Nanoscale Optical Materials (Royal Society of Chemistry, 2013) and Handbook of Synthetic Methodologies and Protocols of Nanomaterials (World Scientific Publishing, 2018).
