Yanexy Vera

At forty-five, Yanexy Vera had the career, marriage, home, and financial stability that she had worked hard to attain. What more could she ask for? She felt as if she had reached the end of the line and bathed gratefully in a feeling of bland satifaction. Having had identified as the introverted, anxious, underdog type, she suddenly found herself secretly wishing to be seen and desiring deep interpersonal connections. As if a prayer were being answered, one evening, a pair of eyes found her. This seemingly innocuous event sparked a spiritual awakening and personal transformation. In an attempt to understand and navigate the emotional and mental turmoil that ensued, she took to her childhood passion for writing.
