Yoko DannoYoko Danno writes poetry solely in English. Her collections include trilogy ( 1970 / 2010 ), Hagoromo: A Celestial Robe ( 1984 / 2010 ), Aquamarine ( 2014 ), and Woman in a Blue Robe ( 2016 ), as well as her collected poems, Further Center: Poems 197 -1998 ( 2017 ). The second edition of her translation, Songs and Stories of the Kojiki, a collection of creation myths, songs and historical narratives compiled in eighth-century Japan, appeared in 2014, and she is currently at work on an illustrated third edition.
