Yoseli Castillo FuertesYoseli Castillo Fuertes, born in the Dominican Republic in 1972, migrated to the United States at 16 years old. She holds a BA in Psychology and an MA in Spanish Literature. She is a bilingual-afro dominican - latina - lesbian - poet - activist-teachr-aunt-mom. A Cave Canem alumnus, her poems and short stories have appeared in various anthologies inNew York, Madrid, Argentina and Santo Domingo.
