His expertise is on intelligent networking, and his main research interests include computer networks, networked systems, software defined networks andsystems, network management, and network security and privacy including blockchain technologies. He serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management, IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, and IEEE Access, as well as an Area Editor for Computer Networks (Elsevier).
