Zakia KhanamDr. Zakia Khanam received her Ph.D. in 2009 from Aligarh Muslim University, India. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship (2011) from the School of Chemical Sciences, University of Science Malaysia. She has served as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculy of Agro Based Industry, University of Malaysia Kelantan, Malaysia. She has 8 years of research and teaching experience and served as a committee member in various faculty committees. She has received awards for publications at the University of Malaysia Kelantan and University of Science Malaysia. Dr. Khanam has published more than 25 research articles, six book chapters, monographs, and several proceedings. She is actively involved in reviewing articles from various publications and has served as a section editor, guest editor, and editorial board member of several journals. She has presented and contributed her research work in 38 conferences and trained students for thesis writing in various workshops as an invited speaker including the Health, Herbs and Beauty Bio-Kelantan international carnival: Conference and Exhibition.
