Zehavit GrossDr Zehavit Gross is a senior lecturer and the head of graduate program of Policy and Leadership in Informal Education Systems in the School of Education, Bar-Ilan University, Israel. Her main area of specialisation is Socialisation Processes (religous, secular, feminine and civic) among adolescents. Her research on 'The World of Zionist Religious Women in Israel' deals with retrospective perceptions of adolescent females in Israel regarding their religious, civic, feminine and Zionist socialisation in school. In 2003, this research was presented in the Israeli parliament (Knesset). She is the editor of a special issue of Holocaust Education together with Dr. Doyle Stavick and in 2003 was chosen to participate in a special project of UNESCO on religious education.
