About the Book

"The Address 79: The Day My Soul Flew Away" is a fictional depiction of a seven year old little boy (by the name of Jadorey Clemons) who is torn between emotions. Distraught and sadden by the absence of his father while losing his mother to drugs. Jadorey's never ending fight to finding his identity becomes his driving force. In the wake of his parents absence, Jadorey is constantly raped, abused and tormented by family members. Vulnerable and unprotected, Jadorey becomes victim to the brutality in his own family at the hands of people he was told to trust. While fighting through poverty, struggling to feed himself and his brother, Jadorey finds himself holding on to what's left of his family. Running from door to door begging for scraps, Jadorey is even sexually violated by the monsters in his own neighborhood. Jadorey's flamboyant demeanor makes him a target for every ill minded monster he comes in contact with. Witnessing the fall of his family through the crack of his parent's bedroom door, Jadorey blames himself for not being good enough. The reason he felt his parents left him and his brother behind. Constantly ridiculed by family members who sexually violated him on a daily basis, Jadorey's young soul vanishes into thin air. Unable to defend himself in a world he's not quite ready for, Jadorey's self esteem lay dormant underneath his feet. "The Address 79: The Day My Soul Flew Away" speaks through the letters written by adult Jadorey addressing the violators of his past. The struggles and pain of his broken identity. The message behind this touching, powerful, funny yet shocking story, gives the phrase "what's done in the dark comes to the light" a whole new meaning. Jadorey's journey will take you on a emotional, heartfelt roller-coaster ride from the driver's seat. The reader will have to hold on for all the twist-turns and drops. As Jadorey recalls the turmoil of his past and past offenders, the readers witness his brave transformation. Join Jadorey in 1986 where his story begins in the long awaited novel "The Address 79: The Day My Soul Flew Away."
About the Author: Ten years ago I embarked on a courageous journey to write a book based on my life story. Merging together similar stories of friends with identical experiences. For six years I couldn't get past the first chapter. While battling with my own demons and questioning God about my existence, I received a breakthrough. As I fell to my knees praying to God in the dark, I saw disturbing images of my past flashing in and out of view. Speechless in a sesne, I was now face to face with my greatest fear... my past. In that moment I asked God to come into my heart and remove the hate. I was ready to forgive those who caused me pain and grief and unchain the little boy inside of me. That same night I completed the first chapter of my book. Never in a million years did I think my pain would inspire me to write. As forgiveness began to fill my body, I became victorious over my enemies. Through prayer I was convinced that my turbulent past was for a reason. My story was created to help the next Jadorey find his way. In that moment I was inspired to write a book for the child who felt less than their peers. For the child that blamed themselves for the divorce of thier parents. In that moment I was inspired to write a book for the child that was raped and confined to the fear of their abusers. Shamefully blaming themselves for the cause of the situation. In that moment I was inspired to write a book for the single mothers who place thier children in the care of unworthy friends and family members. Unknowingly leaving thier vulnerable children at risk of being sexually violated by the ones they trust. In that moment I was inspired to write a book for the child who's been held captive by family secrets. Existing in a divided home that's been torn apart by lies. I can proudly say I wote that book five years ago! I have never felt so proud about anything in my life. Ten years ago I couldn't get past the first chapter. Today I have a three-book series that I feel will shape the world in awareness of child abuse and poverty. Awareness to what goes on behind close doors to helpless and defenseless children of all ages, right here in the United States. The moment I finished my book series I cried in relief. All of my pain and insecurities were released from my spirit. I was able to FORGIVE all of those who inflicted pain on me. I have no doubt in my mind that this book will do the same for others. #MaybeMyStoryCouldSaveTheNextJadorey #Theaddress79
