About the Author: Shellie M. Saunders has 19 years of experience as a professional writer. She earned a Mass Media Arts (Print Journalism) bachelor's degree from Hampton University and a Written Communication master's degree from Eastern Michigan University. Shellie has experience with many different types of writing and has successfully produced corporate documentation, marketing materials, technical manuals, organizational newsletters, sponsorship packets and more. She was a freelance writer for publications including "Yak's Corner" (a mini-paper for children that is published by the Detroit Free Press), Contemporary Black Biography and The Michigan Chronicle.
