About the Book
For over 25 years, Construction Site Safety GE 700 has been the industry standard for health and safety. It is revised annually to take into account the latest legislative changes and new or updated guidance and procedures. Each module is loose leafed and provides practical, accurate and authoritative advice on all the important areas of health and safety in the building and construction industry, within the existing legal framework and requirements. Remember, ignorance of the law is no excuse! 59 of the 64 modules cover specific topic areas in relation to health, safety, welfare and the environment, and the remaining five, in the Miscellaneous section, provide information that may be helpful to people on site. The content of each module balances the requirements of relevant legislation, as it applies to the construction industry, with providing practical guidance on how to comply with the legislation. By studying individual modules, users will therefore be able to assess the legal responsibilities of themselves and others and decide how best to organise work activities in a safe and healthy manner.
