About the Book

Delegation has a variety of definitions depending on who you are talking to. Delegation can mean that you bit off more work than you can chew and now you are very desirous to move some of that work off your shoulders. It can mean that if you are careful, somebody else will get the blame if something doesn't go well. The downside of that is if it does go well, you'll have to find a way to garner the glory. Delegation can mean that your boss wants you to do something for which you have no clue. But what is true delegation? The truth is that leaders often talk about delegation but seldom understand its true meaning or how to utilize it effectively. The time has come to evaluate delegation as an essential cornerstone of leadership. It is time to realize that delegation is, indeed, the key to becoming a great leader.
