Die landlaufige Vorstellung vom faulen Apfel ersetzt er durch das Bild vom bosen Fass also der Hypothese, dass das soziale Umfeld und das System das Individuum pervertieren, und nicht etwa umgekehrt. Dieses Buch wagt es, der Menschheit einen Spiegel vorzuhalten, der zeigt, dass man vielleicht nicht der Mensch ist, fur den man sich halten mag.
