About the Book

This book has byte sized reads, chapters if you will. They string along into a larger narrative of rebellion, consequent socialization that ends in acceptance. Just what is accepted and what stands rejected is quirky. You will have to read it, to find out.Popular songs heard in urban milieu of India pass for pop wisdom and are a constant companion. Kant, Baudrillard, Kristeva and others resorted, to pass of erudition, are quintessentially author's reading of academia, in an attempt to posit his confusion in a dangling conversation as old as humanity. Does the author make sense ? It really is up to you. What is surveyed is angst and peace or at least an attempt at movement from angst to peace. You are given a peek into the authors world, his emotions, his journey, your's may mimic it or may be nothing like it. Maybe you will find, through the spy glass, a kaleidoscope of evocative patterns that don't make much sense or you may pick up the pieces and come up with a pattern you can call your own. Any which-way, whether you find an ace or the text points to references out there in the world that you want to pursue, i would consider my task accomplished. I am no messiah, just someone who has gone through the process before you and has written a rough guide for fellow travelers. There is fair bit of Sahir's "Talkhiyan", and his belief in "mujh se behtar kehne wale, tum se behtar sun ne wale" (there is no disrespect for audience when this is penned, just that julia kristeva came up with inter-textuality and ever since readers have an additional tool to hack/ attack reality with and in that sense readers after kristeva are better equiped than those that came before) and there is a copious bit of Kabir here - " haman hai ishq mastana haman se hoshiyari kya, rahe azad ya jag me haman duniya se yaari kya" (I am ishq merry making, wether I stand free of world and it's hustle or trapped, I no longer care for the hustle and don't have an agenda so I say it as I see it.) My world view is a bit of Floyd a bit of Sting and various others. This message in a bottle is cast out to all the lonely people - I have tried to code humanities experience but how does one do that ? There is no compendium there isn't even a vocabulary for that and even if some one masters it, how does one code all of that in glyph and transmit it across in easily understood words. I must be a fool to attempt something this brave, and you will find all of it here - foolishness, stupidity and madness. If something gets communicated it will be because of universal truths and the force of the truth. When Yoda chides Skywalker after burning the Jedi temple he says that the young disciple (Rey) knows more than all the books in the temple that got struck by lightning that luke never read. Force is about living the balance present in everything. So believe in you, as in yourself. Child is buddha nature. You have wonder in your eyes, you value the world for what it is not for sum of hopes and fears it represents .Are we blue because we are a one crazy frog, or are we a one crazy frog because we are blue, my guess, both reinforce each other. But Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man(tin man wanted a heart and Oz the wizard promised him one)That he didn't, didn't already have(The Wizard turns out to be a "humbug" and can only provide a placebo heart made of silk and filled with sawdust. However, this is enough to please the Tin man, who, with or without a heart, was all along the most tender and emotional of Dorothy's companions (just as the Scarecrow was the wisest and the Cowardly Lion the bravest) (so go out in the world and celebrate you have a heart and that's all you will need to survivewith a heart that bleeds you are already the bravest soul)So please believe in me...
