Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: B, Bayerische Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (Institut für Pädagogik), Veranstaltung: Pädagogik und ihre Bereiche, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Erlebnispädagogik liegt voll im Trend. Jeder hat diesen Begriff schon einmal gehört aber die wenigsten wissen, was dahinter steckt. "Erlebnispädagogik" zu definieren ist sehr schwierig und der Versuch würde den Rahmen meiner Arbeit sprengen. Es gibt keine einheitliche Theorie. Nur soviel: hinter dem Begriff steckt im pädagogischen Sinne mehr als purer Aktionismus. Heckmair und Michl verstehen darunter nicht wie Jörg Ziegenspeck, eine Teilwissenschaft der Pädagogik, sondern eine Methode, die in der Pädagogik angewandt wird (vgl. ebd. S. 18f). Dieser Ansicht schließe ich mich an. Das Angebot von erlebnispädagogischen Programmen ist sehr groß und es scheint, als könne diese Methode sämtliche Zielgruppen bedienen. Das ist so, weil es sich hier um einen ganzheitlichen und handlungsorientierten Ansatz handelt, der auf den ganzen Menschen wirkten soll. Die Zielsetzungen sind somit sehr allgemein gehalten und vielfältig. So können für ziemlich alle Zielgruppen passende Lernziele formuliert werden. Deshalb hat die Erlebnispädagogik unzählige Gesichter und kann einen präventionalen, sowie einen therapeutischen Charakter haben. Das alles hört sich auf den ersten Blick eigentlich sehr viel versprechend an... Dennnoch hängt die Frage nach der Wirksamkeit wie ein Damoklesschwert über dieser Methode. Ziel meiner Arbeit ist es aufzuzeigen, warum diese Frage ausgerechnet bei der Erlebnispädagogik solch eine große Rolle spielt. Der Mensch ist ein inter- und intraindividuelles Wesen und die Antwort auf die Frage nach Erfolgsgarantien und -Kontrollen sowie nach der Wirksamkeit ist schließlich überall da, wo pädagogisch gehandelt wird, ein Problem.
