Tesis Doctoral / Disertación del año 2007 en eltema Economía de las empresas - Administración de empresas, gestión, organización, Nota: sobresaliente ("sehr gut"), Universidad de Murcia (Facultad de Economía y Empresa), Idioma: Español, Resumen: Desde la perspectiva de las implicaciones que la dispersión retributiva tiene en términos de eficiencia organizacional, es muy probable que exista una relación inversa entre el efecto incentivador y la percepción de equidad, por lo que la cuestión principal es si las estructuras más jerarquizadas -con mayor dispersión salarial- contribuyen a mejorar el esfuerzo y el rendimiento individual o si, por el contrario, es mejor diseñar estructuras más igualitarias -con menor dispersión salarial- para favorecer la cooperación, la confianza y el trabajo en equipo para lograr resultados económicos deseados por la organización (Gómez-Mejía y Sánchez Marín, 2006). En el capítulo primero, se analiza la importancia de la retribución tanto desde la perspectiva del empresario como desde la del empleado individual, seguido de una definición del concepto de retribución y sus componentes escenciales. A partir de ahí se concretan los factores determinantes de la retribución, distinguiendo entre como factores internos organizacionales, externos del mercado e individuales del empleado. El capítulo segundo se concentra en el estudio del fenómeno de la dispersión retributiva a través de las estructuras salariales. En el inicio de este capítulo se habla de las fuentes que originan las diferencias retributivas en y entre las organizaciones, para posteriormente pasar a definir dispersión retributiva. A nivel intraorganizacional se introduce el concepto de dispersión retributiva -el tamaño de las diferencias retributivas en una organización- y su alcance. Posteriormente, se relaciona la dispersión retributiva con las estructuras salariales y su diferenciación.
