Clambering over Satan himself, Dante climbs Mount Purgatorio where he is reunited with his lost love Beatrice, whom he had fallen in love with when they were both nine years old. Now guided by Beatrice, who represents divine revelation, he ascends to Paradiso, a world beyond space and time.
