His documentary credits include, National Geographic Channel, Discovery, BBC TV, Channel Four (UK), The History Channel, TLC and PBS. In 2006, he began his own production company ''Edge West Productions''. Over the years Day has developed a strong working relationship with National Geographic Channel. Between 2005 and 2009 Day wrote, produced, and directed twelve films for National Geographic and PBS. Seven of these films were produced by his company.
