About the Book

This is about America, people of all walks of life and every phase of building America. From our Forefathers, George Washington, the Continental Army, the writers' of our Constitution, Preambles of the States and Bill of Rights and so forth. Sometimes we find ourselves at the wrong place at the right time and sometimes we find ourselves at the right place at the wrong time! But most of the time fate is not in our hands. These books are written to acknowledge that everyone has a Story and History. Some generations have made greater discoveries then others; some are for the good of the people and used that way. Some start out with well-meaning and constructive lives for civilizations and wind up destroying life and civilizations! There are kings that would dominate and enslave humanity for their own pleasure. There are those elected to office and swear before God and everyone, to uphold our constitution, Bill of Rights and all that is required of them. Once they are in the position of power they forget why they were elected and their minds turn to ideology and serving the thing they hated the most, enslavement of heart, mind and body. The Spirit belongs to our Creator, can be enslaved for good or evil, whichever is chosen by the person. We are born with a free will to choose. These books are unique in being about expressing true history about real lives of people, wars, adventures, miracles of known and unknown events and sources. The author has brought these sources to life by researching all that is written as close to reality as possible. He has researched for these books for over 20 years, interviews and resources that opened up as he went about with patience and dedication to God, Country and the wonderful people of America. This is a story about David Deneveaux who is the 3rd generation of Basque and Catalan French, whose great grandparents were from the French Pyrenees Mountains of France. 1830's to 1860's was a time of great immigration of European Families through the ports of New Orleans, which had belonged to France until the Louisiana Purchase in 1803. Many came from France and Spain to work for American ranchers, farmers and sheep men. They were highly skilled sheep and cattle ranchers. Honest hardworking and wise in utilizing the land, and caring for stock. It was an opportunity for industrious people to work save their money and buy their own ranches, farms and stock. David's branch came to New Orleans to homestead. They then moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming. They were well to do, industrious and acquired land and raised cattle, sheep and horses, also raising their own crops and feed. Most of these Basque and Catalan families traveled together in the beginning. Their motto was (neither kith nor kin will be betrayed.) Later generations moved to Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico where they could homestead and the grass and water was plentiful. A favored expression of David's grandfather was. "In those times the grass was belly high to a horse." That is the way he would start his History lessons of the times. His Grandfather taught him history that had been passed on to him for generations since he was a child. They came and blended in with the rest of the Caucasian families in every lifestyle and profession. They were always ready to help anyone that needed help and share with the less fortunate. Honesty and hard work was their honor and tradition. When they gave a promise, or made a deal of any kind, the handshake was the seal to the promise. In those days, there were epidemics of yellow fever, small pox and many other diseases. They were devastated to these folks because there was no known cure. Because of these epidemics many families lost mothers, fathers that left the children to be adopted by Basque or Catalan Families, so once adopted the children took the adoptive parent's name. This was convenient and they are very clannish.
