About the Author: I have spent over twenty-five years in management and training in the business and academic fields. My expertise includes financial, accounting, fiscal management, business plan development, technical writing, and proposal writing. I have also taught community college and university level courses in word-processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation graphics, desktop publishing, Web design, Internet, E-commerce, and accounting for the PC and Macintosh through advanced levels for 10 years. I have worked for large companies such as Xerox, Charles Schwab, IBM, Kaiser Permanente, and MCI. I have also worked with many entrepreneurial businesses as well as start-ups, and have conducted seminars and workshops for both for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations. I have reviewed over 7,000 resumes and interviewed over 500 applicants both individually and as part of a hiring committee.
