About Author : Prof. Debadutta Chaudhury (b.1951) did his Post-Graduation in the P.G. Department of Applied and Analytical Economics, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in the year 1972. He has served in various Degree Colleges of Orissa like Godabarish Mahavidyalaya, (Banapur), Aska Science College, (Aska), S.B.P.Mahavidyalaya (Samantiapalli) etc. for about 3 decades.He is a reputed social activist and rendered his services as programme officer, N.S.S. for more than one decade. Prof. Chaudhury is an active ANGCTA state executive member, editor of an Oriya Journal "Khambeswari", keen researcher and a popular teacher. Presently he is activetly engaged in his research "Socio-economic Development of Rural Women in Orissa".Dr. S.N. Tripathy (b.1957) educated in KSUB College, Bhanjanagar and Khallikote College, Berhampur (Orissa). He received his Ph.D. degree from Berhampur University in the year 1989. Dr. Tripathy has a large number of published works mainly his ICSSR and UGC funded projects.
