Estratto: I Within Temptation sono un gruppo musicale symphonic gothic metal olandese, fondato nell'aprile 1996 dal chitarrista Robert Westerholt e dalla cantante Sharon den Adel nella cittadina di Waddinxveen, nell'Olanda meridionale. Sono annoverati tra le piu famose band nella scena gothic di fine anni novanta e sono noti soprattutto per voce della cantante soprano Sharon den Adel, tra le piu apprezzate in ambito metal. Fino ad oggi la band ha pubblicato cinque album in studio, due EP, tre DVD dal vivo con relativi CD audio, e un ulteriore album live acustico.
