About the Book

What about the heroes of real life? Are they anything like the mythical ones? And what about the villains? What makes them tick? In this book, many heroes join our quest. We hear about John Lennon's fatherhood, Steven Tyler's love of nature, Alice Cooper's Christian faith and David Bowie's Berlin apartment. We join Marty McFly for a spin in the DeLorean and see what Charloton Heston found among the apes. The Renaissance party, was it as wild as we think? Do opera singers really wear scarves? What do John F. Kennedy and Stephen King have in common? And did Adolf Hitler really die back in 1945? Ghosts, Irishmen, real British monarchs, an angry Inca-Queen, Tesla's demons and fantastic artistic legends, they're here and they're dying to tell you a fascinating story ... Once upon a time, right here, not so long ago ... Written with Herbert Eyre Moulton and Gun Kronzell-Moulton. Cover painting: St. George and the Dragon by Svitozar Nenyuk.
