Ziel ist es, einen Lernprozess bei allen Beteiligten auszulösen. Durch das Erkennen von Unterschieden und Gemeinsamkeiten können eigene, bis dahin nicht hinterfragte, Positionen überdacht werden und gegebenenfalls neue Lösungsstrategien erkannt werden. In vielen schulischen und pädagogischen Einrichtungen in Deutschland, wie auch in anderen Ländern, gibt es zu einem vermehrt lernbehinderte Kinder oder Kinder mi Einschränkungen, aber auch Jugendliche aus verschiedenen Ländern und Kulturen, insbesondere solche mit Migrationshintergrund.
