Examensarbeit aus dem Jahr 2007 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Heilpädagogik, Sonderpädagogik, Note: 1,0, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Aufgrund zahlreicher Untersuchungen wissen wir, dass die Verbreitung und Nutzung des Internets - vor allem auch bei Kindern - seit Jahren ansteigt. Hinzu kommt, dass diese Kinder immer jünger werden. Dies stellt neue Anforderungen an die Eltern, Lehrer und Anbieter von Internetseiten. Bisher sind sich Psychologen und Pädagogen nicht einig darüber, ob und in welchem Maße die Internetnutzung das Leben der Kinder verändert; auch wurde bislang zu wenig erforscht, ob sich durch die Nutzung des Internets die Qualität von Unterricht verbessern lässt oder wie ein sinnvoller Umgang Heranwachsender mit diesem Medium erreicht werden kann. Solange es an objektiv messbaren Kriterien fehlt und noch sehr wenige dokumentierte Erfahrungen aus Grundschulen als Ausgangspunkt zur Entwicklung eines Medienkonzepts bekannt sind, liegt die Entscheidung über die Art und Weise der Vermittlung von "Internetkompetenz" bei der entsprechenden Lehrkraft und hängt ab von deren Experimentierfreudigkeit, Motivation, Kenntnissen, Einstellungen und Präferenzen. FEIL hat in ihrer Befragung von Grundschulpädagogen festgestellt, dass "Lehrkräfte mit geringeren Internetkompetenzen und weniger Unterrichtserfahrung [. . .] häufiger die Nachteile des Interneteinsatzes" betonen. Da sich das Thema "Medien" im Rahmenlehrplan der Grundschule für das Unterrichtsfach Sachunterricht wieder findet und die sukzessive Erschließung des Internets darin als Lerninhalt explizit für die Klassen 3 und 4 benannt wird, musste auch ich eine Entscheidung treffen, wie ich das Thema in meiner Unterrichtsarbeit mit der sehr heterogenen Schülerschaft der 3. Klasse dieser Schule erarbeite. Bis zu meinen Unterrichtsvorbereitungen für das zweite Schul-Halbjahr ging ich davon aus, dass erst in der Oberschule das Internet als Medium Verwendung findet.
