Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Kunst - Malerei, Note: 1.3, Universität Bremen, Veranstaltung: Das Exotische und das Moderne, 16 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Studie versuche ich, "Les demoiselles d'Avignon" von Picasso als eine Allegorie zu sehen. Wenn man aber bedenkt, dass Picasso sein Bild niemals als eine Allegorie gesehen hatte, taucht ein Interpretationsproblem auf . Betrachtet man einige Künstler, die in der Kunstgeschichte neue Wege geöffnet hatten, kann man feststellen, dass sie die Richtung und das Wesen der Veränderung der Zeit prophetisch vorhersahen, bevor die philosophische Reflexion auf die verändernde Zeit reagierte. Es wäre hier sinnvoll, eine Analogie zwischen dem künstlerischen Entfaltungsprozess und dem evolutionären Adaptationsprozess aufzuweisen. Man kann die beiden Prozesse als die Reaktion auf spezielle ´Umweltfaktoren´ deuten. Zudem laufen sie unbewusst und nicht zielgerichtet. Um diese Voraussetzung für die Interpretation von Les demoiselles d'Avignon besser zu erörtern, stelle ich im zweiten Kapitel Nam June Paik, einen Pionier der Videokunst, vor. Damit wird klar werden, dass die beiden Künstler neue Kunststile entfalten könnten, indem sie auf die Veränderung der Zeit mit ihrer feinen Sensibilität reagierten, und indem sie sich in diesem Sinne der Veränderung jener Zeit erfolgreich anpassten. In dieser Studie wird die Auffassung vertreten, dass "Les demoiselles d'Avignon" als eine Allegorie für den Auftritt der Heterogenität zu betrachten ist. Nach Lyotard, der erstmalig das Schlagwort Postmoderne zum Thema machte, wurde Heterogenität in der modernen Philosophie, die auf dem subjektzentrischen Paradigma beruht, entwertet. Der Wert von Heterogenität müsse zur Geltung kommen, um das Motto der Moderne Freisetzung des Individuums und das Einsetzen der Freiheit des Individuums radikal zu realisieren. Daher skizziere ich im dritten Kapitel die Postmoderne, und zeige, wieso in der Post
