About the Author: Malcolm Teasdale was born October 22, 1955, and grew up in Coventry, England. He attended Caludon Castle High School and continued onto Coventry Technical College studying electrical and electronic engineering and telecommunications. His career began over forty years ago in the telecommunications industry where initially he buried telephone cables and climbed telegraph poles to eventually holding various engineering and management positions with some major corporations in the industry. In addition to holding down a regular daytime job, he gained experience in managing a business in my late teens and early twenties by spending eight years running a mobile discotheque and a nightclub with lifelong friend Michael Wootton, including serving time as a disc jockey a few days of the week. In 1982, he emigrated to Ottawa, Canada, where he spent two years before his company relocated him back to Great Britain, where he lived in Llandogo, South Wales. Itchy feet made him pack bags again. In 1985, his company made him an offer he couldn't refuse and relocated him to Boca Raton, Florida in the United States, preempting a three year job commitment in Papua New Guinea. He has also lived in Singapore. In 1998, he co-founded a successful contact center development company. Because of the global nature of his company's products and his position as head of sales and marketing, international business travel was a necessity. He has traveled extensively around the world both on business and pleasure and has been responsible for selling technology into over seventy countries worldwide. He sold the business in June of 2013 and now spends time traveling for pleasure, however to the more obscure and off-the-beaten-track places.
