Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2015 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Linguistik, Note: 1,3, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (Philosophisches Institut), Veranstaltung: Einführung in die Lexikologie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Jeden Tag werden wir in unserem alltäglichen Leben mit Werbeanzeigen und Texten konfrontiert, in denen uns die werbenden Unternehmen von der Einzigartigkeit ihrer Produkte überzeugen wollen, sei es nun über Werbeplakate auf der Straße, über das Fernsehen, über das Radio oder über Anzeigen in Zeitschriften. Letztere habe ich für die folgende Hausarbeit ausgewählt, um die Werbesprache hinsichtlich ihrer Wortneubildungen genauer zu untersuchen. Mein Hauptaugenmerk liegt dabei auf der Verwendung von Neologismen und möglicher Unterschiede hinsichtlich ihrer Verwendung im Kontext "geschlechtsspezifischer" Zeitschriften. Gibt es in der Art der Neologismen, welche in Werbeanzeigen einer typischen "Frauenzeitschrift" auftreten, Unterschiede zu solchen, die in einem typischen "Männermagazin" verwendet werden? Gibt es vielleicht auch Unterschiede in ihrer Häufigkeit? Oder ist die Verwendung in den verschiedenen Zeitschriften letztlich sehr ähnlich? Um diese und ähnliche Fragen zu beantworten, ist es unerlässlich, zuerst auf die Terminologie der Wortneubildungen einzugehen und später auch ihre Einbettung in das Feld der Werbung näher zu betrachten. Auch muss geklärt werden, wozu Werbung benötigt wird und wie diese zu funktionieren versucht. Anschließend werde ich dann anhand mehrerer Beispiele aus "Männer" und "Frauenzeitschriften" die Verwendung von Neologismen untersuchen und versuchen, mögliche Unterschiede deutlich zu machen und zu begründen.
