NLN developed Practice Tests for RN programs are nationally standardized tests designed to measure students’ achievement in various content areas of the nursing curriculum. They enable faculty to evaluate specific course or program objectives and to compare the scores of students in their program with those of nursing students across the country.
Assesses understanding of the fundamentals of nursing care, with an emphasis on the nursing process, nursing diagnosis, and the nursing care plan. Includes questions on health promotion and prevention, psychosocial health, and professional accountability. Also addresses basic client needs for nutrition, safety, comfort, activity, and rest.
