Having won the world cup and the Grand Prix twice each, the Four Hills Tournament and the Nordic Tournament once, and 12 gold medals at world championships and Olympic games, he is one of the most successful contemporary jumpers. Thomas Morgenstern is one of the biggest natural ski jumping talents in Austria. After winning three continental cup events (out of four starts), he made his ski jumping debut at the 2002-03 Four Hills Tournament.
