Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Kommunikation, Note: 2,3, Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen (Institut für Soziologie), Veranstaltung: Einführung in die Erforschung von Online-Kommunikation, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die immer rasantere Veränderung der Gesellschaft durch den Einfluss des Internets und dort vor allem der konstruierten Realität in den Social Networks, welche sich seit einigen Jahren enorme Beliebtheit erfreuen, macht es erforderlich, dass dieses Feld von der Soziologie erforscht wird. In den Fokus soll hier nun die Online-Kommunikation rücken. Während die Kommunikation im Cyberspace vor einigen Jahren noch vorwiegend in Chat-Rooms stattfand, wird man heute feststellen, dass sich der Austausch der Menschen im Schwerpunkt auf soziale Netzwerke, wie Facebook, Wer-kennt-wen usw. verlagert hat. Zusätzlich zu den Chatfunktionen, die diese sozialen Netzwerke aufweisen, geben sie Personen, sowohl juristischer als auch natürlicher Art, die Möglichkeit sich selbst darzustellen und eine persönliche Vorstellung zu projizieren. Wenn man also die Online-Kommunikation erforschen möchte, dann ist es von enormer Bedeutsamkeit sein Augenmerk nicht nur auf die in Chats geführten Dialoge zu richten, sondern auch die Oben genannten Selbstdarstellungen und die Kommunikation über die Mitteilung mehr oder minder öffentlich zugänglicher Art mit ein zu beziehen. Das Forschungsfeld, dem ich mich auf den folgenden Seiten widmen werde ist die Kommunikation in Facebook. Hierbei gilt allerdings zu beachten, dass ein Unterschied zwischen der Darstellung von Privatpersonen und Verbänden/Parteien und Unternehmen besteht. Daher lautet meine Frage: "Wie gestaltet sich die Kommunikation von Unternehmen und NGOs, sowie Politikern auf Facebook?" Es gilt zu beachten, dass hier "das Prinzip der Kommunikation unter physischer Abwesenheit"(Strübing, 2004: 2) gilt. Es wird darauf hingewiesen, dass bei einer Kommunikation im virtuellen Raum die Kommunizierenden weder
