About the Author: Silke Nowak wurde 1975 in Ravensburg am Bodensee geboren. 1995 bis 2001 studierte sie Germanistik, Philosophie und Kunstgeschichte an der Freien Universität in Berlin. Dr. phil. Silke Nowak: 2005 erfolgte die Promotion in Germanistik über die Lyrik und Poetik Gertrud Kolmars an der Freien Universität in Berlin (veröffentlicht im Wallstein-Verlag). Silke Nowak ist Trägerin etlicher Stipendien, wie zum Beispiel des evangelischen Begabtenförderungswerkes Villigst e.V., der Berliner Graduiertenförderung, der Fondation de la Memoire de la Shoah in Paris, des Deutschen Literaturarchivs Marbach a.N. Silke Nowak arbeitete als Dozentin für Literaturwissenschaft an der Freien Universität Berlin und der Technischen Universität Chemnitz, für die Freunde der Hebräischen Universität Jerusalem in Deutschland e.V. und als Beraterin für Literatur und Neue Medien. Im Juli 2013 veröffentlichte sie ihren Debütroman Auserwählt bei Amazon, wo er eine große Leserschaft und begeisterte Kritiken gewinnen konnte.
