About the Book

Agent Tiki Gibbs, 25 year veteran of The Agency - a super-secret government group that specializes in finding people who do not wish to be found - receives a message in the form of a simple piece of paper in a windstorm. The notecard only says, "I'm Searching For You." Agent Gibbs, as levelheaded and grounded as they come, looked upon the message warily. Maybe it was nothing more than simple human curiosity that got him to make that initial inquiry. Maybe it was the oddity that the message kept changing in his hands, sometimes adding a picture of an island paradise, other times adding ten simple digits - a phone number in Hawaii. But mostly it was the fact that only HE could see the message. No one else, not even his girlfriend, Christiana, could see anything other than a blank piece of paper. Making that phone call started Agent Gibbs off on the biggest manhunt of his career, a search that takes him across the country looking for 96 escapees of the Perception Is Reality Project. Where those escapees are going is not the big question... Where they have come from... IS!
About the Author: Fred Gibson, Jr. worked for 25 years at 'The Agency'. He's drawn upon that experience to create 'Perception Is Reality', the story of Agent Tiki Gibbs, the very best at finding people who do not wish to be found, the specialty of the government agency Agent Gibbs spent his career working for. Just like Agent Gibbs, Mr. Gibson's life changed dramatically upon his retirement. While Agent Gibbs changed his life by going on his own to open Midnight Enterprises a private investigating firm, Mr. Gibson used the opportunity to begin writing, the only thing he ever really wanted to do. He began with 'Dream Realization', feeling what better way to pursue his writing dream than a book about achieving dreams? Next, having always been a 'time conscious' person, he assembled copious notes from dozens of years and put them together to create words of inspiration in his 'Gibsonian Calendar', a perpetual calendar that will last the reader a lifetime. Finally he compiled some older short stories he had written and put them all together in 'Past Blaster'. All these efforts were more or less 'practice' for the project he really had waited his whole life to tackle, The Perception Series, now available at Amazon.com in Paperback and eBook forms! THE PERCEPTION SERIES! Perception Is Reality Perception Is Deception Perception Is Truth (Volume 1) Perception Is Truth (Volume 2) NEXT PLANNED TITLE: Perception Exception - Midnight Enterprises (Projected for 2015) Mr. Gibson always welcomes email and can be reached at: WordMan@fredgibsonjr.com or by visiting FredGibsonJr.com. Mr. Gibson writes from his base of operations at his home in Pennsauken, New Jersey. He was born only a few miles from where he now lives on July 17, 1957. Mr. Gibson does occasionally do book signings and other books events on the road. His schedule can be found at fredgibsonjr.com/calendar.html
