About the Book

Precise Practical Pharmacology is written to motivate students to acquire the competency demanded from a medical graduate today and to align the minds of readers to the practical training sessions appropriately so as to maximize their future performance as a doctor. It breaks out of the traditional mould of the practical pharmacology curriculum being followed in India to place greater emphasis on the requirements of today's clinician. The book is designed to be self-sufficient with all the 'core' as well as much of the 'nice-to-know' information in one place. Used in conjunction with ward rounds and practical sessions in the pharmacology laboratory, the book should facilitate the process of acquiring   lifelong skills vital to patient care. In addition to MBBS students, the book is also expected to be useful for students of all health-care professions and practitioners for learning and honing their skills.
