About the Book

Why is there so much sorrow and suffering in the world? In the beginning it was not this way. It will not always be this way. The Gospel: the superior story in a world full of fiction and lies.
About the Author: Jonathan Williams was a teaching pastor for over 35 years with Great Commission Churches (GCC) serving in Kansas, Missouri, Virginia, and Texas. He also served on the National Leadership Council and the Doctrinal Ministry Team for GCC. He is the founder and President of Word of God, Speak! which advances life change, builds a biblical worldview, and connects people to God's Story. He currently has two radio programs, a daily expository teaching program heard on many stations in the U.S. and Albania with The Heaven & Home Hour, one of the longest running Christian programs in the United States, broadcasting since 1933. He was hired for this position in 2012. Stories of the Master is his weekly radio program where he takes on the role of the storyteller, dramatizing the story of Christ and the stories he told for audiences around the world. He brings in cultural and historical details which Westerners often miss, but details which make the stories come alive. Stories of the Master is heard worldwide on Spirit Network Radio and is also heard in Albania and is being translated into Nepalese. The 80 stories trace the life of Christ from his birth to his enthronement at the right hand of God. Jonathan is the author of several books including The Prodigal Son and His Prodigal Father, Dead Men Rising: The Death of Sin-The Rise of Grace in Romans 6:1-14 and the just released The Women Jesus Loved. Learn more about this new book at www.thewomenjesusloved.com. He attended Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, Missouri and the University of Missouri in Kansas City where he majored in history and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Trinity Seminary. He was married to his first wife, Dee, for 27 years, who passed away in 2003 and is now with the Lord. They have three children and five grandchildren. God has blessed Jonathan with another wonderful wife, Kathleen, who also loves the Lord and His people. She is a part-time social work therapist and assists Jonathan with his ministry. You can learn more about his ministry, listen to his teaching, and hear his stories at www.WGSministries.org.
