Como resultado de la negociación de las "agendas" de los diferentes grupos reflexivos, los propios Media y las Instituciones sociales; las actitudes, conductas y opiniones de los sujetos se encuentran enmarcadas en una serie de representaciones que transforman los hechos sociales en prácticas de la vida cotidiana. Así mismo, se apuntan en este artículo los problemas teóricos de un planteamiento multidisciplinar como el expuesto, así como las dificultades metodológicas consecuentes, al comprobar que los efectos de los Media y sus relaciones con las conductas individuales, imposibilitan en la práctica, prescindir de un enfoque crítico para la comprensión de dicho fenómeno.
