"And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God."-Deuteronomy 28:
When you listen to the voice of God and seek Him in everything you do, it will cause blessings to fall upon you that you can't resist. You can try, but they will chase you down and jump on you. That is how powerful they are, they can overturn your doubt. You cannot run fast enough to avoid them, nor can you make enough mistakes to repel them because God has seen your faith, He knows that you know that you are a child of God and that you are worthy of the Kingdom. You are permanently marked for favor. He provides reasons for why we should relax. He keeps telling us that we are taken care of and that He can take the burden as we begin to rely upon Him more than we rely on ourselves.
God will elevate you from where you are by moving supernaturally in your life. He will save you from yourself and let you see with new eyes. He will put His hand of protection over you and guide you into greener pastures. Jesus has been victorious over death but He has also been victorious in the physical realm. He healed people physically while He was healing them spiritually. He removed blindness, quenched hunger, cured mental illness, healed handicapped limbs, and much more. Don't let your metaphoric blindness hold you back, Jesus is a blindness healer. Maybe you are being held back by a blind spot in your life, if this is the case then ask Him to show the blind spot to you, to remove it so you can see clearly once again. You may discover something about yourself that you never realized that was holding you back, and once you are aware of it God can move in and heal it. He will give you a new vision and a new perspective that you didn't even think was possible. Only God can cause such a light to break through.
God makes it clear in Deuteronomy that He will not leave you nor forsake you. He will always be by your side pleading your case for you and making a way where you don't see one. He says many times throughout the Bible to fear not. If He is telling you not to be scared it's because He knows the outcome of the situations you are in. He knows that you will come out victorious and you will be okay in the end. This is why He knows that you don't need fear. You would need fear if you were in a dire situation that has an unknown outcome, but you have a known outcome that God has presented before you. You just need to stay in faith and know that it will come to pass and that He will work everything out for you in the end.He will not fail you, He will see you through to your destiny until the very end. He is saying that you can trust His competency.
He is capable and able to bring you out of the valley and up to the peaks of the mountain. This is why you should not fear, because He always goes with you, and He is capable of bringing you through to your destiny. He is saying that He has unconditional love for you, in that He is willing to always go with you, and He has unconditional power, because He will not fail you. To be dismayed is to be stressed out and God is saying that you have no reason to be dismayed. You should not be stressed out but instead find solace in the fact that He is going with you and leading you to victory. He commands that you not fear and commands that you not be stressed out. They are not simply suggestions, but commands.
