About the Book

The Sealant Book is the story of Bud, the tooth who wants a sealant to protect himself against sugar bugs. This book explains what a sealant is and how it is placed. With the help of Dee, the dental hygienist, Bud is about to have less worries.
About the Author: I was born in Washington Heights, New York. I graduated from Rhode Island College with a bachelor's degree, concentrating on four areas: education, health, biology, and Spanish. Later on, I attended the Community College of Rhode Island and received my dental hygiene degree. Before I became a dental hygienist, I was into banking for many years. I even landed a role on the NBC TV series Unsolved Mysteries, in which I played a bank teller. Today, I work in public health and enjoy it very much. I have many years of experience in pediatric dentistry, but I have also worked in a periodontist office and general practice. My main goal is to educate everyone so they can keep their smiles.
