About the Book

This text presents a comprehensive treatment of signals and linear systems at an introductory level for third and fourth year university students. The book is based on the author's 1992 publication "Linear Systems and Signals". As the title suggests, this book contains additional chapters on digital signal processing as well as analog and digital filters. There are also additional applications to communications and controls. The book contains enough material in discrete-time systems so that it can be used not only for a traditional course in signals and systems, but also for an introductory course in digital signal processing.     Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
