It would seem a great irony that poetry, like its origin in verse, requires any explanation whatsoever. About the Author: Jill McIntyre's admiration and respect for the wonders of the natural world was cultivated during her childhood in Eastern Montana. Jill has earned two Bachelor's of Science degrees in both Psychology and Sustainable Food and Bioenergy Systems from Montana State University-Bozeman, and was recognized as the Most Inspired in Sustainable Food Systems of her graduating class in 2012. Her education also included service learning experiences and internships for which she created and provided educational materials for the Montana Office of Public Instruction, the Gallatin Valley Food Bank, and Gallatin Valley Farm to School program. Jill has also contributed recipes and a Foodway history for two cookbooks. She currently writes and moderates for the website www.organicfoodscenter.com .
