Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2012 im Fachbereich Psychologie - Arbeit, Betrieb, Organisation und Wirtschaft, Note: 1,3, Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Teilzeit- und Befristungsgesetz (TzBfG) sichert seit Anfang 2011 allen Arbeitnehmern, unter gewissen Voraussetzungen, das Recht auf Teilzeit zu. Unter anderem soll dadurch eine bessere Vereinbarkeit von Beruf und Familie ermöglicht werden. Teilzeitarbeit ist in Deutschland weit verbreitet, da das TzBfG auch für geringfügige Beschäftigungen, wie den "400-Euro-Job", gilt. Die Studie der Unternehmensberatung Bain & Company zeigt, dass sich 94% der weiblichen und 78% der männlichen Spitzenkräfte für die Möglichkeit einer flexiblen Arbeitszeit interessieren. Dennoch nutzen davon aber nur die Hälfte der Frauen und ein Viertel der Männer entsprechende Angebote des Unternehmens. Der Wunsch nach Teilzeitarbeit ist auch in Führungspositionen angekommen. Jedoch vertreten immer noch viele Deutsche die Meinung, dass teilzeitbeschäftigte Mitarbeiter weder eine Karriere machen, geschweige denn Führungspositionen bekleiden können. Das Thema Life-Domain Balance und Teilzeitarbeit erhält aber längst verstärkten Einzug in deutsche Unternehmen. Das Angebot von Teilzeitmodellen soll dazu dienen, qualifizierte Mitarbeiter langfristig im Unternehmen zu halten. Darüber hinaus ist das Streben nach einer besseren Life-Domain Balance stark gestiegen. Unternehmen haben den Konflikt zwischen Beruf und Familie oder Freizeit ihrer Mitarbeiter erkannt und bieten daher verstärkt Teilzeitmodelle an. Nur so können hochqualifizierte Fachkräfte an das Unternehmen gebunden und die "Ressource Personal" nachhaltig genutzt werden. Bei Führungskräften stellt Teilzeitarbeit eine Seltenheit dar und ist noch nicht ausreichend erforscht worden. Das Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist zum einen, die Einstellungen und Meinungen zum Thema Teilzeitarbeit von teil- und vollzeitbeschäftigten Führungskräften im öffentlichen Dienst
