About the Book

This title is commended in the basic and clinical medicine category in the BMA 2006 medical book competition! Physiology's classic text continues to uphold its rich tradition-presenting key physiology concepts in a remarkably clear and engaging manner. Guyton and Hall's "Textbook of Medical Physiology" covers all of the major systems in the human body, while emphasizing system interaction, homeostasis, and pathophysiology. This very readable, easy-to-follow, and thoroughly updated, 11th Edition features short chapters, clinical vignettes, and shaded summary tables that allow for easy comprehension of the material. Purchasers also receive access to Elsevier's innovative Student Consult website - an interactive learning platform offering the full text online, integration links to related material in other Student Consult titles, image banks, PDA downloads, test banks, a community center, and much more.

A Thrilling But Totally Believable Murder Mystery

Read this in one evening. I had planned to do other things with my day, but it was impossible to put down. Every time I tried, I was drawn back to it in less than 5 minutes. I sobbed my eyes out the entire last 100 pages. Highly recommend!
