About the Book

The untold story of 1976

Katelyn Clark and Tatiana Nikolayeva are on their separate paths of hunting the wanted criminals for suspected mind control experiments. Tatiana succeeds in apprehending Marcel Duplantier a Neuropsychologist and one of the lead MKU scientists. Katelyn finds her target in Eastern Berlin and interrogates her, her name Anya Popov, a doctor in chemical engineering. Her support is caught at the border and after a heavy exchange with the Soviet military Katelyn barely survives and succeeds crossing the border. Tatiana is given an order to travel to the Ognenny Ostrov, an island gulag where she'd interrogate Marcel once more before he's given to North Korea in exchange for information on CIA operatives. Percy Hughes and Marcel achieve escaping the gulag and are chased by military and scout dogs.
By the time Tatiana arrives, Marcel was already sold as a slave to North Korea something that made her execute the commanding gulag officer. Her support Mikhail offers help. He has a connection in NK to where she travels, but after turning hostile towards the supreme leader she too is placed in a prison. Katelyn is in Cairo in search of a magician, a third suspect who can supposedly speak with invisible entities. After barely escaping death, she extracts Percy's coordinates from the suspect and travels to NK against her director's advice. The Chernobyl powerplant is under KGB protection after a warning of possible infiltration. Katelyn achieves passing the border of North Korea and finds Percy where she also finds Tatiana. They attempt crossing into the Soviet Union but the Cell stops them and their leader The Boss flies away in a helicopter together with Percy and Marcel. Tatiana receives a letter, a bait, where she'd try once more to save Percy and Marcel. She together with Katelyn has a vicious fight with the cell in the streets of Eastern Berlin where the two barely survive and achieve securing their targets.
