Kommunikation ist eine Grundvoraussetzung für erfolgreiche Kooperation innerhalb von Unternehmen und Organisationen. Zur Flexibilisierung der Zusammenarbeit wird verstärkt auf Teams gesetzt, die in verteilten Strukturen, also räumlich nicht zusammengefaßt, arbeiten. In diesem Zusammenhang zeigt sich oft, dass die dazu notwendige medienvermittelte Kommunikation zu suboptimalen Ergebnissen führt.
Es stellt sich die Frage, in welchen Aspekten sich medienvermittelte Kommunikation und Kommunikation von Angesicht zu Angesicht unterscheiden. Dazu wird das Problem beleuchtet, warum die sogenannte informelle Kommunikation unter Medienvermittlung nicht auftritt. In einer Experimentalstudie wird abschließend untersucht, ob informelle Kommunikation durch gezielte Gestaltung eines Kommunikationssystems auch medienvermittelt möglich ist.
About the Author: Der Autor: Hans-Joachim Schütze, Jahrgang 1973. Ab 1993 Studium der Psychologie an der Universität Mannheim. Nach verschiedenen hilfswissenschaftlichen Tätigkeiten ab 1997 ungeprüfter Mitarbeiter im Sonderforschungsbereich 346, Teilgebiet A 8 «Integrierte Methodik zur Unterstützung der informellen Kommunikation im fertigungsnahen Umfeld». Diplom 2000; seit Mai 2000 Projektleiter am Lehrstuhl Psychologie I, Universität Mannheim.
