The book is divided into two parts. The first part tells the story of Shamsi Tabrizi and his unique relationship with Jalal al Din Rumi. While the second part, which is made up of six chapters, consist of the ecstatic, mystical and majestic poetry of Rumi, dwelling mostly on love, spirituality and the general lessons of life. Built into these poems are words of eternal wisdom, which the reader, irrespective of faith, believes or doctrinal inclination, will find illuminating, inspiring and comforting. Whether reading for leisure or seeking inspiration and guidance, to manage the daily challenges of work, career or relationship, the readers would find in the pages of this book, the wisdom and guidance which they seek.
