Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2019 im Fachbereich BWL - Allgemeines, Note: 2,3, Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit beantwortet die Frage nach der Bedeutung der transformationalen Führung im heutigen Wirtschaftskontext. Gerade der zunehmende Anteil an digitalen Büros und dezentralisierter Arbeit nimmt zu. Anhand der Studie "Transformationale Führung und Veränderungsbereitschaft - Stressoren und Ressourcen als relevante Kontextbedingungen" von Jörg Felfe, Julia Hardt und Daniel Herrmann (2012), wird ein Ausblick gegeben, in welchem Maß und zu welchem Anteil die transformationale Führung die Unternehmen von heute unterstützen kann und welche Aspekte dabei noch erforscht werden sollten. Die heutige Zeit gipfelt in einem zunehmenden Wettbewerb, geringen Produktlebenszyklen, einem Fachkräftemangel, einer stetig voranschreitenden Globalisierung und Marktveränderungen. Diese Faktoren nehmen gegenseitigen Einfluss und verschärfen den Wettbewerbsdruck, wodurch Unternehmen anpassungsfähiger sein müssen, um sich nicht dem Wandel entgegenzustellen, sondern diesen zu nutzen. Organisationen müssen strategisch vorgehen, um Innovation sowie Veränderung von inneren heraus voranzutreiben. Da die vorteilhaften Faktoren wie Standort und Technik immer weniger Gewichtung haben, sind in diesem Kontext Mitarbeiter die wichtigste Ressource. Der Fachkräftemangel gewichtet das Wissen der eigenen Mitarbeiter noch mehr. Diese Ressource ist in Bezug auf die Berechenbarkeit und Organisation eine echte Herausforderung, gerade, wenn man den Aspekt Bindung von Mitarbeitern miteinbezieht. Hierbei sind Führungskräfte von elementarer Bedeutung, um ihre Mitarbeiter zu besten Leistungen zu ermutigen. In diesem Kontext steht das Konzept der transformational Führung, welches als besonders geeignet gilt und seit knapp 40 Jahren empirisch erforscht und diskutiert wird, als Mittel der Wahl zur Verfügung.
