What’s there to say on halting wildlife extinction globally with an ensemble of leading conservationists, architects, designers, a mega concert producer and others newly formed to support The Noah’s Ark Foundation charity? A huge THUMBS UP right?
‘You are Noah!’ – book tie-in to the whole programme, to vitally restore planet Earth’s prime climate building resource NATURE – kicked off with volume 1 ‘Introduction’ excitingly capturing the initial fundraising stage eg on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Noah’s Ark TV Series 1 and press/media including, Mail Online, Daily Mail, Daily Express. Also featured is the spirit of community engagement and upliftment, and songs projecting the whole programme’s spirit such as the poignantly beautiful ‘It Takes the World to Make a Miracle’. Some say. a lot is already being done? A perception that’s totally understandable, given the focus there’s been in the press and media on a great many local projects and internationally the Conference of the Parties (COP) climate summits as well as a myriad of wildlife documentaries on saving endangered animal species.
But in reality there’s little cohesion, no unified front across the planet, and the absence of official delegations at recent COPs notably from the USA has further down played leadership among nations globally. The whole momentum has lost energy and urgency.
It’s understandable too, that our perceived knowledge of the natural world qualifies us to take over its management wholesale. In reality we have far less knowledge on a macro scale, of forests and their free roaming animals let alone the oceans, than we do on a micro level, such as of the inner workings of anatomies. We have yet to say we are on top of managing that with eliminating illnesses and disorders.
And while we have numerous bodies specialised in species, there is yet to be any specialised in ecosystems, on their highly complex structures and interdependencies. Why any of this matters, can be seen in the focus there’s been to mitigate our unending explosion of human industrialisation, such as with the electric car and massively expanding power transmissions/grids regardless of consequences.
All of this is ‘on the table’ with the Noah’s Ark project’s direction to protect and research all of nature’s endangered animal species and interdependencies. The aim is to build a sanctuary as big and as safe as Jurassic Park and establish a centre of excellence there on all ecosystems. Key to success and sustainability, will be celebrity songs, TV series and year on year concert programmes.
